A setting is not a simple one word explanation. A setting has details just like every other part of a story. So now it's time to practice describing it....
Let's begin by discussing these things:
Where?
What time of the year is it?
What time of the day?
Describe what the characters see?
Describe what the characters hear?
Describe what the characters smell?
